What is "effect damage"?

In currently on star 17 and in order to advance to the next stage, I'm being ask to do a total of "1000 effect damage". I currently only have 350/1000. I however, don't know how i got that number given i have no idea what "effect damage" even it's. Can someone please help me?

Effect damage is damage dealt by the effect of a card, cards like Attack And Recieve, Burning Land and Fire Sorcerer. When the attack of a monster is higher than another, that is battle damage not effect,

effect damge u got it by kill your enemy monsters that they are in attack posion, so the different between your attack point and that monster attack point is effect damage

It's the dame dealt by traps/magics or effect of monsters.
