Disappearing Duelists- Gltich or intended?

I recently noticed that Duelists disappear completely after I quit a duel mid-game and return to the game afterwards. Is this some kind of glitch or does Konami start to screw the game up? You cannot really prepare for the Vagabond for example and if he always disappears there´s no good way to gain full EXP from him.

I love how people exploit the glitch and then complain when the glitch was fixed as if it's their right to use the said glitch.

The fact that you could quit and challenge them again was a glitch,the update fixed it.

it is intented some players leave the match when they know that its a losing battle, so if they quit the match ( unless they resume it) it already over
