I have over 2 gigs of space, and my WiFi runs about 20 mbps why can't i get the game to download the data? Is my phone outdated? Or is it my wifi's fault?

It's probably not your fault beecause I have the S5 as well

Are you simply updating but were able to play before? if so then it's your connection that has problem. I run on a galaxy note 4 and it's fine, our phones were released the same year.
