How does legendary duelist spawning work?

For example:
I play keith to do autoduel vs standard duelists.

Can keith also spawn now in duel world or only if i play as someone else?

Usually the duelist you're playinmg as won't spawn. But I've already dueled Aster in DW (not Ranked) while playing as Aster. So I'd say it's random.
