But you'd barely get to use that effect for 1 turn.

Azure-Eyes is the better choice, provided they don't mess with your graveyard.

the level 7 synchro is useful when they target your spirit dragon during your main phase and they control at least on monster, so you special summon the level 7 to banish one of their monsters (you should control at least another monster so you are not left with none at the end of your turn)
