Quite decent deck, when played good beats spellboks without bigger problems, going second as well (simply chain econ to fate, then your monster goes to grave - you take control of his blue boy, or eventually he must waste silent's negation, then use Mayhem and you can do your usual stuff). Generally econ and treacherous does good comboes with Mayhem, allowing you to activate your effect during Ops turn. Against heroes most important is to negate mask with Wiz, same with Amazons and Onslaught. Deck in contrast to sylvans is not brainless, you need to think and premeditate what are you doing, especially in current meta, where one misplay can cost you game. Earlier I've played heroes practically since they came out, and as i love them, i think, that unfortunately they've been powercreept out of the game lately, especially since this and silent can negate mask.
Using E-con to counter Fate? That's pretty good. It still can't help against Chalice/Providence, but at least E-con is far from useless.
I fought a Masked Hero user, and he managed to have 2 Mask Change on hand, bypassing Wiz' ability. You need some luck, but it might help to try and hoard 2 Mask Change before using them, or use Polymerization first as bait.

I guess you didn't read my comment properly. I didn't said nowhere that he will banish his monster (maybe only when we are at point when this monster can give me game, then yes, but that's not the case). It's obvious, that normally he will banish econ, my point was to have MY monster in grave, not banished, so I can bring him back with Mayhem, and his monster on my side/silent's effect wasted.

About heroe's yep, 2 masks does the job, but lately i had worse win ratio than before, hard to deal with spellbooks when going second, if you have no Vyon in hand and both Maliciouses in deck, plus those new negations that i've mentioned. Maybe Canadias as tech can be a thing.
