You don't even need new box to beat this vanilla. Buster Blader & Quarantine can beat it so easily. When Quarantine can work well means the meta is not diversify enough.
BE bricks very often compared to other decks, you don't always start with stone in hand and having sage in attack position is just stupid and extremely dangerous when you don't have backrow.
I have lost count on how many times that 0 ATK rubbish got attacked. Sage is the worst card in the deck. I would just throw it away if we have Dragon Shrine. The best card in the entire deck now is Spirit Dragon - can negate grave effect, can fly away from backrow & summon Azure. If it is not on the field you will likely lose.
sage is the best card because you have 6 stones in the deck. You want stone in hand with this deck, so maybe your suck as a player. You can play 2 econ or 2 balista if you like, but probably you are kid a noob reddit kid that can't figure it out
