Like seriously, there was no reason Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant should be that trash, even during its time period. They could have kept it the same as the anime version, then add "can only be used to summon an Aesir" restriction. It wouldn't be broken at all, yet is far better than what we got.
Nordic has a lot of cards, but most of them are garbage.
It took a TCG exclusive (Vanadis) just to make Odin actually summonable (because Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant was super trash), and Loki's Nordic Alfars are mostly lv5+ with no way to easily swarm them into the field. Thor's Nordic Beasts are the only decent ones.
And it took TWO more TCG exclusives for Nordic Alfars to make them okay.
