Rituals are too hard to compete with. I see here that that Vendread Asuka simply didn’t have protection, just Ritual Cage isn’t enough and it’s vulnerable. I try to put things like Watch Cat + Ritual Cage + Ascending Soul in ritual decks, but anyway the clunkiness is real, it’s just for pve.
And they use Shiranui in it. I wish they would give some better ritual support. Konami seems convinced that Manju will destroy the game or something, and that's the least of it.
With shiranui, Sometimes you end up with only the synchro for the rest of the turn ( or the game) . That ritual cage is just there, doing nothing lol. But it still better rather than only set houndhorde and end the turn.
Pre-preparation of rites and manju needed by vendread. Vendread worse enemies isn't meta or anything sort currently.
