Read the text carefully. It specifically says "destroyed". If the card that you use says "destroy" then it can be used on Phoenix. SEND to GY is different thing. Learn to read man.

It has to be destroyed, so if the card that you use to get it to the grave doesn't specifically say "destroy" it won't work.

One of conditions for pheonix to work is that when it summon from graveyard next turn, your field must not have any monster. :p

Well, when I auto duel the AI with the deck I made, it uses Kirin in the matter mentioned. If it wasn’t suppose to activate the effect why did Konami program the AI to destroy the card with Kirin?

Konami intentionally made the Auto Duel AI an idiot, to force you to actually play the game instead of relying on auto feature all the time.

Auto Duel is just meant to show newbies how the game works, not for "veterans" to never play the game. You're the duelist, play the damn game.

Are you serius??? Auto duels saves you huge time dueling vs stupid AI bots. Just a vanilla monster with a power of guardians equip is enough to win you every single game in auto dueling. You need to try in order to loose vs bots.

It doesn't save you any time, with how basic a vanilla+potg deck is, you're doing it vs the AI doing it will have virtually no difference in terms of time, or even result.
