I can’t believe this crap has been around for so long and completely unlimited. No cost, brainless wins with one single card. Who the hell thougnt adding something so broken would be a good idea.

This card requires you to also bring Sanctuary, since it's a useless dead card unless Sanctuary is up on the field.

And playing Sanctuary would be useless outside Fairy decks. How many Fairy decks are meta up to now? 1, Darklords, and that deck already can win even without bringing Sanctuary and this card.

Parsath Sanctuary is also a much better alternative, since it protects backrow, boosts fairies and counts as Sanctuary in the Sky to activate Divine Wrath

Actually, Sanctuary is better better because it is searchable. When using light and dark, you could potentially run 9 Sanctuaries.

Just because a card is searchable doesn’t make it good. Parsath Sanctuary is by far a much better card

Well yeah, but it makes sanctuary in the sky way more usable in the deck. You can't count on drawing parshath sanctuary to use it with the other cards in interacts with.

Either way I think we all can agree on one thing: the OP is the brainless one here. This card is nowhere near broken.

No, we can’t “all agree” in this. This card is horribly broken. It doesn’t have any cost and JFL if you think the activation requirement means anything with effectively NINE copies of Sanctuary in the Sky in a 20 card deck. Good luck playing anything against it.

Hahaha... yes, go play 3 zeradias, 3 sanctuary in the sky and 3 parshath sactuary in 20 card format. Then come back to tell us your wonderfull bricking experience. Divine punishment is just a good card.

Wtf are you telling me to play the very deck I hate? I am talking about how to play against it, and it's pretty much invincible. Xyzs took away the "oh just normal summon beaters" pseudosolution. Anything you try to do to their beaters will get negated.

Bountiful Artemis is not a fix for consistency, it needs you to already have it AND a ready to use Counter Trap on the field.

I’m wondering how they got 5 cards on the field if the starting cards in hand on turn 1 is 4 cards.

Going second and attacking into a monster that did not activate an effect then but only on the following turn. Then getting destroyed and starting the endless draw and negate cycle.

But then they only have a 1600 atk monster that isn’t that hard to run over.

That's 1900 with that spell which ties with my beaters, and effects I'd use to special summon others get divine punishmented.

But you only have one, so if the opponent has other plays you’re f***ed.

My opponents get excellent draws in general. There's not much more that can be said from that.
