The complete list hasn't been released, we don't know what else is gonna get hit. RR is too strong in Standby Burn to just let it run rampant, so I'm guessing they leaked that info as a hint as to what is coming.
Or maybe only RR got hit. Why? I think in this game Konami is trying to be as conservative as possible with the bans. I mean, from the start of the game, already almost a year (japan got it first), we only get banlist now
Tea Burn is an uncompetitive luck-based deck that can 🔥 on the first turn with no chance for you to defend yourself, if they get lucky enough. Mirror Wall/Kuriboh/etc. don't really compare to that.
Mirror Wall and Kuriboh are not broken, and if you think they are, you are bad at the game, to put it bluntly. Econ is a very good card and is arguably broken, but is really one of the most skill intensive cards in the game, which makes it a bit better. Restructer Revolution is a 🔥ed and could easily no-skill you to wins just by clicking damaging spells a few times in this format
while i agree that mirror wall isnt broken. i do feel it could get hit to 1. it can change control of the game, stall 1 turn, can be played during damage step and/or allow you to take down a boss monster with a weaker monster. it has a lot going for it. until we get better spell/trap removal mirror wall is pretty strong over all.
OTK burn decks can be a problem, but they are also hardly used. Even so, it's entirely luck based on their part as well. They succeed, match ends quickly. If they fail, you can laugh at their failure and smash them with direct attacks. However, in most cases burn players are usually so pathetic, once they fail they quit the match and run. they don't even have the guts to formally surrender.
