Just to update this. PvP duels where you have a chance of playing KoG players when you are a Bronze Ranked player. Because the Turbo Duel player match engine is completely broken. F2P users are screwed.
There are decent F2P decks, though. But if you're still relatively new to this game and don't have all the cards you need for a decent deck, then you don't have a chance.
It's not necessarily about skills or F2P but more about resources.
I don't agree, every KOG deck has lots of UR cards from main boxes or Structure Deck EX, so the chances are: or you have a ton of luck and pick always the best cards from a box multiple times, or you invested so much in only one box to actually build a deck with that cards, in which case you will suck when your deck goes out of the meta. In this event f2ps have little chances,
And it's not about skills, this game has a limited amount of possibilities, you don't need a degree to run a deck efficiently. Like someone said, it's about resources, in this case cards, it's not like we all have the same cards and above that there is always the luck factor, just like every other card game.
Bronze players shouldn’t be matched with anything Gold and above, period. This isn’t KC where you advance through tiers... there it’s an actual tournament, here it’s just playing for your own rewards.
well, I'm KoG and I'm F2P . yup, I build six sam. all my UR Card only for six sam and all my gem only for six sam. cause, this is the only deck that actually I built. to me there's no reasoning about F2P or P2P cause, it's all about your effort.
Well, if you want to play only one deck sure. But what happens when you deck goes out the tier? You were lucky enough that six sam remained in the meta for many months, but image investing all your gems in a pack for a deck that in the next 2-3 month is outdated. As a f2p you can do this only a limited amount of times.
If they really care about F2P, with so many event for years you can build a top tier deck purely outside of box/structure deck card. The reality is, almost every card from event has no impact to the meta
I agree with you, that's what I said multiple times in their surveys. Cards like Toy Soldier would be R rarity at best in a box. They give them at us like SR to create the illuson that they are giving good cards. The last very good deck with cards from an event was when Yubel was firstly released, and it was the summer of one year ago. Or someone can focus on decks with low budget, like Subterrors
Even Yubel still needs Fire King box to be playable. The only good deck you can build outside of box is Aromages + econ and windstorm as the backrow, or Cystal Beast + Crystal Raigeki + Storm, but they are Silver tier not KOG tier
Yup, that's called exploiter. They only play one deck for years, then create new account if their deck is outclassed by newer deck. Masked Hero players last year, and Six Sams players this year, those are the perfect example
Well, I guess you are right, very different from me which I like the most to play PvE stuff like the unlock events or the Chronicles. What I appreciated from this game were the characters, their dialogues and the consistency with the anime. Right now with so much PvP events and few new duelists I think things are getting worse every month it passes
