Don't see how dragoon is bad. Especially if you can protect it. Clock tower prison would at least need 3 copies and maybe dread servant and eternal dread. Adoration is awesome. Dystopia, D-shield, and even D-Counter would also be cool.
Oh, wait. I get it. Xd If he has all of those cards, they might want to rename the event and call it, "Invincible Aster". Might not be so great for new players.
