Leave it to Konami to go crazy with the ban list and actually create a potentially balanced meta. Then immediately release an archetype that’s less than a month old in the TCG that naturally is made for a much faster/tougher format than links format. Call me a scrub all you like, just playing against the deck speaks for itself.
The timing they choose to release fur hire is really dumb. What's the point of balancing the meta if you straight up release a potentially tier 0 deck?
The (Hire Deck) has the most ridiculously imbalance of power among other decks . The hire deck is even worse than the sylvan one. It can
1. Special summon as many monsters as possible (including high level monsters)
3. Banish cards from from the opponent’s graveyard.
4. destroy high level monsters that require at least 3 cards using a foolish nobody card, namely, Nopa.
5. Negate effects.
6. Destroy set cards making other players defenseless.
7. Special summon cards from the graveyard easily
8. Add cards from the deck
Where is the balance?! They limited the power of the sylavan deck to make another more powerful.
How can a nobody card like (Nopa) destroy easily and dumbly high level monsters. The Fur Hire player only prays that he/she goes second in order to win
The funniest thing is that they nerfed red-eyes, nerfed cyber angels, nerfed sylvans, and released this broken archetype. I agreed with the first cyber angels nerf, and then they turned the Cyber Petit Angel a limited card. Now we have spellbound silence which is worst and has no limits to their cards. I think konami purposes is to shift the meta from time to time to make us players spend money.
