Sorry but DM support is still better than BEWD. Maiden is the only card that allow you to summon from deck/hand/GY. Sage is basically useless when you draw 3 BEWD in the first turn. Master is also useless when you draw him on your first turn.
BE decks could have been better in a 40 deck format. With 20 deck format the odds of drawing 2-3 BEWD is too high. And most BE supports SS from deck ONLY. A temporary fix for this would be a BE support that returns any BE dragon from hand or grave to deck so that Sage and WS Ancient don't become dead card
What BE actually need is an easy to SS over 3500 atk boss monster. Today most other popular decks just beatstick their way through this archetype. Once they summon a >3000 atk monster you lose. Except from generic cards only Alternative can save you from a 3100 atk monster. DM on the other hand can just banish and be done or SS Cavalry.
BE lost to most of the meta decks. Feel sorry to those Kaiba Fanboys, you still don't have 3x Alternative Dragon & 3x Melody and also your long awaited Dragon Shrine.
Why are you comparing your meta deck with a fun deck in the first place.
