Do you have any proof? Is there a screen shot of Kiaba calling it this? I do not recall a specific name given. I do know tht the point in Duel Links is to get fans into the series and to act as a revival so they can increase sales.

Reguardless if it is directly from the managa or fromtgeat movie, the system is manga based. However, the story lines are anime based.

Set Sails for the Kingdom literalky ststes the event is based on story elements from the anime. There are no manga only duelist in Duel Links because most fans were introduced to this via the anime and card game and thus it gets far more inspiration from the anime and the card game. Most fans are not even anime fans as it attracts audiences that are not necessairly nerds into anime and manga.

Look in the app store. It mwntions characters from the anime on the download page. Yes, the VR system likely is from the manga but literally everything else is anime and card game.

We continue to get cards in the card game and no anime exsclusive ones so aside from format changes everything is from the card game in game play with story elements from the anime and the system from the manga.

They cater to their American audiance as much as the Japanese one as we are a huge percent of their income but idk if Bakura will be added as he died early on in the sub but I do know him and Tristian are possible. We have, with confirmed characters not added, aprox 22 or so from DM world.

17+ Solomon Muto, Arkana, Marik Ishtar, Bonz, Espa Roba. All are confirmed to be unlockable eventually. They are not going to limit, anyone who has a fanbase and dueled will be added. I feelyou need a better reason to doubt people. Rebecca is minor but played a vital role and dueled more than once tho we did not see all her duels. She took Keith's title and she was a supporting character.

People need to rewatch the anime. Duke helped drive some of the characters to keep up with Yugi. Rebecca and Duke dueled to protect Yugi and help save the world. They were supportive on the same level as Tea for several episodes of one of the arcs yet Tea was added and those two were more of pro duelist than she was. Duke was all about DD but he was knlwn to duel, we just only saw one fully playou

I do not see how you can doubt Duke, Rebecca, etc. I said back in April Espa Roba would be added eventually. Everyone argued. He is an upcoming roaming duelist and will be unlockable eventually so look at who told ya so. They avoided mentions of Tristian and Bakura Ryou so they may not be added but why doubt others? I mean even Serenity is coming. She was mentioned by name in DL.

They do not mention a duelist and just never add them. We don't have enough female characters and a lot of Yugioh fans are girls. It does not matter if more are boys or not a good number are female. Why deny female duelist? Serenity was mentioned for a reason. They avoided Bonz the first Set Sails and never mentioned good Bakura or Tristian so obviously mentioning her is foreshadowing.

We got Mokuba who duels a grand total of uhh never. We got Espa Roba who duels once. Bonz, Pegasus and Keith all of which are dead. Duke has dueled multiple times once with Tristan and Serenity vs Nezbit and again with Rebecca vs Valon.

We need characters like Duke Devlin. Noah AND Dartz never interested me as antagonists. GX has a nice antagonist Sartorius that must be included in GX world. Axel Bodie and Chumley should also be in Duel Links GX world.
