Why would blue eyes even stalling? It's not like they have a burn damage mechanism. If you are referring to the trap they used, its for field control as they had to use extra card to deal with monster effect + backrow

You can't really called blue eyes a "stall deck" just because they use a single maiden...
Not to mention maiden is mostly used as tribute for sage ( for +1 blue eyes on the field), or filler as synhcro material.

Your question should be more like:
"Is maiden being used as stall in blue eyes?"

Like many people, the P2W version of Blue-Eyes with lots of Cards of Consonance is ugly. May as well not call the BE meta from DLM a Blue-Eyes deck any more.
