The big problem is popular Youtubers: YTDan, Dkayed, etc. They are the ones promoting every single box, saying how it's the one to buy. I seen broke a s s players reaching KOG with Dino still. KONAMI relys on YouTubers to sell their s h i t. Spend your gems on whatever you want because you can reach KOG with almost anything as you keep grinding, learn the meta and not make misplays.
