Yeah. Just 2 cards needed to summon this broken freak is too easy. It really pisses me off how can they just bring back the lv2 with Predapruning and use its effect to summon another one of this.
Fusions are supposed to be hard to make, you need to search the cards and stuff. Now they spit broken fusions the entire time. Fusion summon sending monsters right from the deck, fusion summon with just one monster effect activating, etc.
Fusions were indeed a really cool idea. Monster that could be summoned via polymerisation. However, the mechanism was REALLY BAD for competitive gaming. 3 cards just to summon 1 monster... so... they had to make them more easy to be summoned. First they used the "fusion" magic cards and after that not even them. So sad the anime iconic polymerization never became tourney worthy.
Xyz is the easiest extra deck summoning mechanic because all you have to do is having 2 or more monsters with the same level. But they must be face-up while fusion can bypass this. Also there's lot fusion spell that can use materials from main deck nowadays so in other words, 1 card combo. Also polymerization is most searchable spell in the game. Not to mention there's contact fusion.
