this is 🔥ed;
"Generally, if you think you're going against a Sylvan deck and they only set 1 monster, you can assume that it's Komushroomo. If you don't have monsters that can get over 2000 defense, or have ways to negate its effects, it's recommended to not attack into it to enable their plays. This can sometimes give you some free turns so you can draw your counters."
who the f wrote this? you have to attack into it because if you don't they are flipping it over on their turn anyway, at least if you attack you have a chance it was a rose lover or something and cuck their tribute summon...
it already says if you can't get over the 2k defense monster. and how is hoping that it's a rose lover a good thing? they can use rose lover to special summon hermitree or literally any plant monster from their hand, and it's going to be immune to traps.
That's why it's recommended to invest in Sea Stealth decks, particularly, early Whale builds (turn 1 or 2). rose lover's 🔥ous effect will not affect you as you will not be using traps to target their monsters.. it's also killing two birds with one stone, you have a counter to ubiquitous Sylvans, while having a potential KOG deck as well. :)
Actually, Rose Lover's effect lets the special summoned monster become unaffected by trap cards for that turn, no targeting required, so it can work against SSA. I think SSA is still generally a strong choice though. Many people still can't deal with SSA.
