whats the point of a rank system in a game where u need to play a specific deck to reach top ranks?

You can reach kog with at least a handful of toptier decks and also with several lower tier ones.

You don't need a specific deck, generally you just need luck and to be creative with how you deal with things.

There are like 20 decks in the reached kog list.

If you got the KoG skills there is no doubt a deck among them that you have access too.
