It doesn't always work, only if you attack with a monster that has higher attack. Toon kingdom can only prevent 1 destruction at a time, so if a toon would be destroyed by battle and by SRH, it would banish one card and still destroy the monster.
Something wrong here definitely, the 2 destruction isnt at the same time, in fact there is nothing aside from a chain or multi summon is counted at same time, toon kingdom should work.
