It's because ectoplasmer dealt damage to LP from a tributed monster, not from the ectoplasmer effect itself. Same as if your oppenent using gravekeeper's cannon holder or man-thro' tro' to inflict a damage, so you cannot negate it with Lifeforce Harmonizer.
