While they might not be as consistent as the ultra-meta stuff now, Amazoness can still be effective if used right. With some A. Forces and skills like Field of warriors or Firm as Earth, they can fill up the field quickly with some of the Amazoness traps. Add the right protection and Sage to 🔥 the backrow, and it can work fast. But it could be even better if we got some of Mai's other cards.
