Samurai Destroyer Effect

Should Samurai Destroyers effect overule Powered Inzektrons protection when it attacks? When I tried it did not get destroyed. Thanks

Iirc it shouldn't be overruled or destroyed.

I'm pretty sure it's because the effect is a one time effect not a continuous one and takes place before Samurai Destroyer's negation effects,
