Level up characters

I might be missing something here, but how is it some folks level up their character to max so fast? It took me over 5 months just to get Mai up 45.

Having no life and playing the game like 10+ hours a day. I can confirm as this is what I did before the vagrants came and still do this.

- use multiplier x3 at the gate against level 10 LD
- Duel during +50% exp event helps even further.
