Question

Special summon a Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh

This monster cannot be normal summoned, it "must first" be special summoned banishing 3 Dragon-Type Normal Monsters from the Graveyard.
My question is: can i discard it in the graveyard and special summon it (with card effects obviously)? Or it must be first special summoned like it says in the card, then if it goes in the GV i can revive it however i want?
That "must first" bothers me.

In addition I'm pretty sure that the game pretty easily "forgets" that the card was summoned properly. So if your method of summoning has multiple steps or if it was affected by other cards it might not be a valid target.

Yeah, it "must first" be special summoned properly before being special summoned by other methods.
