Newbie needs help :)

Hello, I'm a new player on Duel Links that used to play the card game 5 years ago. I just started playing and I'm at stage 8 and level 8 with Yami Yugi (I started with it). Well, Duel World duels are not a problem, I auto-win everything in 5 turns mostly but once I get to PVP, other with the same rank just overpower me, I literally cannot do anything with my deck. I currently have the standard cards that you get at the beginning and I switched some with more powerful ones I got from legendary duelist duels.
Let me mention that I'll play F2P only... I currently have 2000 Gems (enough for 40 boosters) and 30k gold. What should I start buying? What deck should I build to survive the early game?

Farm kaiba lv.40 for enemy controller

Go for Dawn of Destiny and make the naturia deck. 40 packs are probably enough to make the entire deck, and maybe get 1 super rush headlong.

Then, keep playing, trying to farm the NPCs for rewards, and getting the rewards from ranked (You will probably pick enemy controler, if you don't have any)

They overpower because either they WASTED monkey or they play very long which means better cards. Speng your gems at dawn of destiny u should be able to hit plat.

Yes go for Dawn of Destiny it is a small pack and easy to pull cards.

Focus on getting the two URs and the SR Super Rush, especially Super rush it is great and very viable.
If you managed to pull them early, reset the box

Take Dawn of destiny it has a Phoenix deck and it has also a potential natura beat down so dubble win

I agree with the other guy, a phoenix deck with beatdown skill is best bet for a F2P newbie. the new box has silent magician, but it's too new to know how strong it is. ice barrier is strong. might take a while to gem out that 200 pack box

Dawn of Destiny is the best choice atm. You can make Phoenix deck or the cheapest one Naturia. These deck very strong in competitive match
