sooo....am I the 0NLY one here who bothers to do all the extra missions to get extra orbs?
I see people with meta decks saying "got to floor 3 in a few hours with my dino-deck". I wonder if they just beat everyone or at least bothered to do the extra stuff since it kinda forces you to change deck from time to time (for ritual/fusion/special summons).
I say it because everyone be like "floor 30 in 2 hours so EASSSY man".
Thats why I want to know if they just rushed with a single deck ignoring all the side missions or if they are like me and try to change my deck every time a new challenge appears (like changing from ritual to fusion deck, adding spell/traps ,etc.)
I don't ignore them, though.
Well, most of the time anyway. A select few are just impossible with my current card pool (like the one asking me to inflict 1500 points effect damage in one go, the only way to do that is to use a buffed up Vassal and I don't have Union Attack yet)
I completed all of the missions until floor 20. Now I'm on floor 21 and remembering the last two towers I guess it will become difficult from now on. So I will do my best to get to floor 30 at first and perhaps after that I will try out if I can finsish some additional missions.
Especially when they intentionally pair the mission with a hard deck/npc that only ends up making it takes too much effort to complete.
Seriously, there's a Burn mission somewhere around floor 21-28 that you must do while facing a Ninja deck with the NPC having perfect hand almost all the time. After spending 3 Life Pots I just ignored it.
The missions are quite easy, however, the missions that needs burn from 1k or 1.5k in single activation, is the hardest i can think since the only card that can do that is catapult turtle. I have beaten all missions from floor 1 to 25 and still going up, and some tips, use hazy flame if the missions requires 3k or 5k battle damage in one attack with beast rising.
Gladbeasts are also able to get a lot of special summons rather quickly, also by far the best choice for the "no spell or traps" missions.
I did every mission available, the most trouble gave me the one with 8000 damage and 3 or less cards left in the deck (I know I didn't have to do them in one duel ^^) an altered Plasma farming deck did the trick but it took me a while to come up with that.
sure the 8k damage on itself were easy, but surviving until the last 3 cards against this npc deck which constantly flips down my monsters and then kills them by effect... so frustrating. That's why I used Plasma, wanted to finish both missions in one go :)
I just rush through the event without caring about the extra orbs and invaders, spend the orbs to get the exclusive cards, then I finally go back and redo all the missions I haven't completed.
