Learnt the hard way, but this deck simply isn't viable if you're wanting to reach the upper ranks.
With so much card space taken up supporting and protecting LV8, even if you manage to consistently start with LV4, Level Up and Trap Jammer, the minute someone pulls out a Gale Lizard/Hane-Hane, or boost the attack of a BEWD/Buster Blader, you're screwed.
LV8's defence is way too low, meaning that you need at least another three (or more) cards defending her if she's ever switched to defence position too.
I'm F2P and I'd used all I'd saved, figuring with making Yugi Moto a playable character this would be a viable pack. It might still be if someone can make a viable Ultimate Insect deck, but Silent Magician is trash unfortunately.
Maniac, what i found as really good for ultimate insect is just not running lvl 1 and 3, but insect imitation with 3 level 5 and 2 level 7. (Super rush headlong is ideal along with it) this way, sacrificing like a skull mark ladybug, you can use insect imi to summon a lvl 5 or grasschopper (optional) and then super rush to protect it, level up next turn to lvl 7. Pinch hopper is great too.
