It's so frustrating to see a post or a comment that makes fun of lower rank players( rookie, bronz , silver, gold and platinum), they just want to have fun and they are actually turned out to be the most creative players on the ladder, those players are the reason we meta slaves can actually have fun in legend rank playing our boring meta deck against a player who reached legend playing unga bunga deck or any creative deck, they may be struggling to reach KOG but they truly know that games were created for fun, shout out to all lower rank players!
It's sites like these are ruin the PvP scene.
99% of players simply copy the best decks linked on the site as much as they can (limited by having to compensate a bit by not having all the cards from the linked decks).
Unhappily konami found their way to gather money by making everyone spend their money on a new deck instead of making everyone spending on lots of different cards promoting diversity. The former is easier to do because they have less work to do, one deck release and it already guarantees lots of money.
Yes these meta users 🔥ed lower rank players when they give diff opinions. Its always comments like "i wish mai event come back, i want queen... Shd i spend all my gems on furs?.... darn it, i am going to buy 3 mask change with cc.. " that trigger me alot. Can't these people try to build unconventional decks with cards they already have? Its fun and don't cost much.
I respect both lower ranks and every season KOG players, the former like to have fun and that's all for them, the later focus on winning only trying to utilize thier skills to the maximum, going through legend to KOG isn't easy to be honest so they deserve respect.
different approachs, different goa but as long we play the Same game we have to respect each other, that's all what I'm trying to say
How much innovation can be put into a DL deck without ruining it's consistency? No side deck...single match elimination...what hope does anything below Tier 1 have to reach KOG? Pretty slim. Competitive play is not about building your own deck, it's about bringing the best you've got & some people just aren't cut out for deckbuilding but amazing duelists once they have the right deck.
You can set your own terms for respect, but I respect those who give it all they've got in competitive...because they are looking to grow. I respect those who stick to lower levels and play for fun because I was there once, and I know the joy it brings...and if something makes you happy, you should do it.
Wouldn't that mean that the problem is you? If you're in a toxic relationship, and are fully aware of it, the problem is yours alone. If you expect something to change just because you don't like it, you're being childish; you can't expect a competitive scene to stop being such just because you don't find it fun, especially since others actually DO find it fun.
Why am I being called childish? Do you always 🔥 others when they have different opinions? I am sure many are feeling the same way. Maybe you find it fun, but that doesn't mean others are wrong. I was just stating the point, games are supposed to be enjoying and competition erodes the value.
"This is the correct path to take: "I don't enjoy this, so I'll just stay away..."." - There are no correct path, that's your opinion, I respect that. People just have different perspective but one don't go judging and poking fun when people disagree. Learn to post like how makrov did and not being aggressive.
I see, this is a good example of meta player making fun of folks who are not with them. OP you are right, "games are created for fun". That's one important pointer, not many see it unfortunately.
I'm not making fun or anything of the sort. I'm pointing out the fact that you know you are unhappy and yet you remain attached to the idea that things will change merely because you think is should. It is not a matter of opinion, it is childish behavior by textbook, a sign of immaturity...it's a point that should be taken even if you find it offensive.
Did I say I want things change and when I am unhappy? Its all in your imagination. U are presuming things here and 🔥ing now. This is fact. I said this before, games are for fun competition are not. Don't be a jerk and get personal.
A lack of respect is disapproval, which implies an expectation of meeting certain standards. This is all pretty much linear, you might not have said it, but it's all there in your words. I'm not taking it personal either, I believe you are.
Oh okie. So I did not said that? So this is already presuming things. You are arguing on the basis of presumtion and using this to valid the 🔥? This is really rubbish. Come on can we have higher intelligent discussion here? This is ridiculous.
Hmm if you are not making fun, why are you attacking that guy when he disagree with you? This is very obvious isn't it? Oh well, these guys have gone out of main agenda.
Man! I agreed with u. When I reached plat, its all meta, tbh its pure hell. I should have remain gold, at least I still see some unique decks once awhile and its really nice.
It's not presumption, it's comprehensive reading. Declaring a lack of respect is actually an 🔥 on it's own...yet you are offended by being compared to a child after having expressed selfish behavior. Perhaps a better choice of words could have been used on both sides; I'll admit to my own 'aggressiveness', but I still stand behind my words...
Just because I'm not using 'kid gloves' doesn't mean I'm attacking. Sometimes the truth is harsh, but that doesn't mean we have to sugar coat it, it's important to develop empathy and respect for others, which we can only achieve by outgrowing our own selfish visions of the world.
And if you guys still feel that this comment is worthy of defending "How to respect these players who just only played metas? How many of them actually build their own decks?", maybe you guys should read it again and see how offensive this is for the receiving end.
Not at all, the initial comment I responded to was being defended by duetschboi and the rest. I think it could be possible that they did not realize the implications of the comment they were defending, or perhaps it was not considered to begin with. According to thread pulse, a direct response to my initial comment would be directly related to that post by 'Joker', including any following comment.
