I am just wondering what is the whole point of leveling stage level? Why would you want standard duelist level higher? Wouldn't it makes it harder to grind exp?
1. you get gems from various stage missions.
2. the max amount of standard duelists increases with leveling, which means you can actually grind exp better
3. higher level standard duelists drop more event items (such as the crystal orbs right now for the jesse event)
4. if you are at a higher stage, legendary duelists (even event exclusive lds) will appear at higher levels (usually level 40 instead of 20), which means you can get better drops from them
5. high level standard duelists aren't even that hard rly, you shouldn't be afraid. you should already have a decent pve deck once you reach high level anyways.
All of this is already achieved after LVL 33 or so. What is the benefit of continuing after this point?
I get LVL 40 duelists, and standards are LVL 33. Also, 10 standards appear at a time.
Do we continue to see even more standards past this point?
Not really. I dont see much of a point either. You get a few gems but its not that many. Not being ungrateful or anything but each stage required dozens and dozens of duels for perhaps 100-200 gems or so.
Raising your stage level
1. Increases the chance of lvl 40 roaming duelist to appear
2. Will get you more gate items (gx tokens, crystal fruits, starchips etc. to challenge the event duelist
3. Gets you gems (and other useless stuff)
