Rainbow OverDragon

This card has one of the best artwork in Yu-Gi-Oh, too bad its effect is 🔥

Not really. Using "Ultimate Crystal Magic", you can nuke the field with Overdragon then summon a 4k beater now that UCM made it so that you fulfilled Rainbow Dragon's summoning condition. That's literally an OTK.

This card is basucally like the end of the whole world if you don't stop that trap card from activating. Jaden and Jesse used this combo in the tag duel and it was brutal if you were not prepared for it with ultimate providence or something like that.

*basically like the end of the whole world

What make this card bad is its lack of protection. A simple floodgate, canadia or econ will let any monster your opponent have to run over this 0 defense monster. The first effect is almost useless. The only "good" effect that it has is its last effect to shuffle the entire board. And even then, rainbow neos' effect is still arguably better than this garbage.

Well, that's basically my point, the second effect (which is what I meant with "nuke the field") is the one and only thing you want to use this card for.

Which also means the card is not entirely 🔥/garbage since there's something good you can do with it.

And a lot of other monsters are also weak to position-changing cards. But if people find the effect to be worthwhile, people will use it anyway.

Also, personally I think Rainbow Neos is worse.
At least this card doesn't force you to run 2 cards (Neos and Poly) that would otherwise be useless in a CB deck.

@Valencia: Yeah, the fact that people actually has trouble when this card comes out in that Tag Duel event, means this card is not entirely garbage. I mean, would you really gonna have trouble if this card is garbage? Not every single time you're gonna have Econ ready when this card shows up.

The AI was also not very bright either, though. After they got Rainbow Neos, I managed to deck Jesse out with one decider because they had clogged up their field and couldn't do anything else. So if there are real tag duels for us, I guess that might be a rule: you lose if your partner runs out of cards.

Jesse in general is very prone to decking out. His lv50 event version, especially the first event one before he gets Conclave, is exactly that - get Rainbow Dragon out fast, then lose via deck out.

The lv. 40 Jesse at the gate has joined the ranks of Aster with his diamond dude destiny draw combo. With two rare values and conclaves, farming is harder now.

If we have shadow mist, rainbow neos only need vyon + rainbow dragon to summon. Summon vyon, send shadow mist to grave, add neos with shadow mist's effect, use vyon's effect to banish shadow mist to add a poly, now you have both poly and neos in your hand + vyon in field for rainbow neos' effect to shuffle your opponent's monster.

This method is far easier than having a CB on the field, setting ultimate rainbow magic and then waiting your opponent to destroy your CB BY BATTLE. With all the destruction and banishing effect in the current meta, it is really hard to pull off, and the monster you are summoning is not even worth the effort.
Anoymous
So, personally I think if all CB and Hero support are available in duel links, rainbow neos is much better than rainbow overgarbage.
