Just came here to comment the same. Is this card glitched? For example i have 7 cards is my hand, I battled and destroyed a monster, when I finish my turn and discard it I can't summon Blue Eyes, but if I don't battle and send it to the graveyard I can.
It isn't glitched. You're not supposed to use his effect and conduct your battle phase in the same turn. Therefore, you shouldn't attack if you want to use his effect the same turn.
Same question, swear I had a dragon in my hand and kidmodo was destroyed by an opponent attack. But effect didn't activate...Hadn't special summoned either.
Kidmodo effects activate only when you didnt use YOUR Battle Phase,so YOU CAN'T:
* Activate it by suiciding you kidmodo against opp's mons
* Activate it after you finished you Battle Phase
Therefore, you can use it in your opp's Battle Phase
