as a Amazoness user i can say from my experience that i typically overrun Sylvans and only lose to them once every so often but win much more often then i lose against them.
@anon4 i do use Restart instead of Holy Guard for my amazoness deck so for Sylvan i typically aim to have Princess,Onslaught,Willpower and some sort of econ/chalice on the field and that can typically let me beat Sylvan's since the odds are better of a Leaf getting sent to the grave and monster destruction standardly happens before backrow so a destroyed onslaught can let you summon Princess back
