No he's not. His way of "making people famous" is by beating on people which we seen in the dub version of the movie before Diva banished him & his group. And he's not even a registered duelist. Why konami added him is beyond me & he only had one small role in film. Not enough to call scud a "Legenday Duelist."
You don't need to have all legendary duelists and always playing competitively to enjoy YuGiOh world lore. Such Trivial (casual player) chars like Tristan and Scud will always have their own fans and making Duel Links more fun to play.
I don't even play pvp as people can't create their own decks & 3x Ancient Gear Dragon or similar. That's beside my point & having "fans" is not arguement worthy. My point, like many others, is why konami is adding a guy like scud who we never seen duel, short on screen time as a duelist. They could have gave us someone else who had a significant role like DSOD Tea, Yugi, Diva, Joey, Bakura.
