It depends what deck you're using... I'm sure there is a kind of algorythm which determine your opponent from your own deck. When I play my deck X, I always meet CA decks. When I play my deck Y, I always meet Ancient Gears. But yeah, I agree for Mind Scan.
^NO there IS no algorithm for matchups depending on which decks you use,don't say you are SURE bc you're NOT SURE.The OP is right the higher you rank the more brainless CA players are there to greet you.
exactly my 1st game in was cyber angel ironically my promo to rank 15 to cyber angel also i only won because of econ take on him from his 3700 ca dakini to promote lol CHEESE-O PLAY -GUNZBLAZING
I got pretty salty about it. The phoenix and ancient gears are fine, if I lost it was because they had a better hand or a fudged up a play. Hell even though those random lockdown decks were infuriating I couldn't help but applaud some of the creative ones.
But screw all those ca's. A card game should be based around luck and skill, not who's running ca and who isn't.
I've managed to get to lvl 17, and the second I get that high, I run into CA decks my next 4/5 duels usually. I usually get at least one win, but the other times they simply bloe me out of the water right away. I would join in on the madness, but I do not have 2 petit angels, nor do I have a Sonic Bird yet. 56 packs left in Ultimate Rising and that bird is still hiding from me.
Load up with econs and take the Dakini when it activates it's effect. Then you get to destroy the Dakini. You can also run the spell that destroys a face up ritual monster. I'm only at 12 right now. The toughest I have seen so far was the gladiator beast deck. I had no chance
