This set just overall confuses me as I feel like this set should of been released much later down the line with the release of 5D's and Zexel Characters as the game progresses as we have 2 synchro based archetypes and 3 xyz based archetypes
There's no reason why they can't. The only downside is that we might get some Xyz/Synchro-heavy boosters down the line since there aren't as many non-Extra Deck monsters to fill out the packs. That isn't a big deal. Also, several of the Synchro/Xyz archetypes we've gotten here are better here than they ever were in the TCG. (Hazy Flame and Genex are both better here than in the TCG for example.)
