Far from "tiered", if you mean Silent Spellbook. Still usable in Ranked is not necessarily the same thing as "tiered". Vanilla beatdown is also usable in Ranked, doesn't mean it's a tier 1/2/3 deck.

You can play for free but you'll have to grind to get gems and some cards are pay walled, so the experience is never as nice as if you pay.
