and to those who are thinking the answer is yes, they managed to keep using restart. they just added a few speel and traps and made the deck over 20 cards.
The Karakuri are no more than Tier 3, I won 3-0 vs it with Invoked MG, that Karakuri has no Destruction removal, no banishing effects, cannot control opponent GY, and Burei + Bureido have stats below average. Karakuri can never beat a deck that has a Cocytus or a Sunsaga in it.
Some decks can hard counter another, but that doesn't mean the deck is weak. Look at how Karakuri is the only tier 1 deck currently. Sure they can't get over the likes of cocytus but they usually win before cocytus hits the feild just to give an example. Consistency is a very important stat in the game, just be glad they dont have so much raw power in their boss monsters or they'll become tier 0.
LOL Karakuri Tier 1 ? Tier 0 ?
What drugs are u on ? That deck has 0 DESTRUCTION EFFECTS ,0 BANISHING EFFECTS, 0 PROTECTION, 0 BACKROW REMOVAL EFFECTS, It plays first, it has only INN to negate 1 effect monster, if INN doesn't work its OVER. 2800 is trash and can't even get over a Fortune Lady Every. And Karakuri dont even deal piercing dmg. Tier 3 and Im nice
Check tournament results. Apparently they are not tier 1 because of raw firepower like Purgatrio but because they are currently the most consistent deck.
If Karakuri are good going first only, go 2 nd they are very easily interrupted as they cant run F.Lance, due to their spells they just. need to destroy cards. If GameA are scam to put decks like that in the top it has no value. We all know Shiranui is the best deck, not MEMEKURI. Even DM is much stronger than MEMEKURI going first !
"combo shiranui is still a very good deck, but nowhere near the power level of karakuri" are the words of someone in DLM site although this is one opinion it's still worth noting that karakuri see more good results in tournaments than shiras even they use side deck format where 'System down" is very common.
U mean side deck tournament from dlm? Lol makes no sense in ladder the above guy is correct karakuri can't destroy a single card not can negate spell/traps and low stats also it easily losses to cyber dragon / dm going 2nd without cyclone
I just when and checked the recent tournaments results. You lied, shiranui tops a lot, karakuri isn't even near; barely 1 on top 32. Something like ritual beast gets more spots than karakuri
Memekuri is nowhere near the lvl of Shira. Because simply Memekuri has 0 way to recover after being disrupted. Shiranui doesnt even care of being floodgated, Ballista squad solves it all. A Shiranui deck can have space for 2 Lances, 1 CC, and 2 Ballista Squads, which gives them almost guaranteed immunity against backrow. Karakuri just loses if disrupted once. Karakuri Tier 3, Shiranui easy Tier 1
Lets be real here i played shira too befote ghost meets girl version was a thing.. You dont always get 3 backrows.. Sometimes you get none.. Shira is very strong but has 1 weakness..they're really reliant on that 1 normal summon
Ok you negate let's say squire, set 1 that it's obviously a discard trap, opponent's turn: whatever they do you activate your trap discard sword, turn end. Next turn shiranui syncro from grave, gg
