Nope. The Lightsworn version is not only more expensive (because you have to buy Lightsworn cards to replace Ixchel) but also less consistent than Ixchel version
A lot of tiered decks in this game require going through multiple boxes. Also, your point doesn’t disprove the other. An investment generally remains good once you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of it. I know for me personally I spent hardly any gems at all getting my DL together. I already had lightsworn cards. I was going to Go into the new box anyway. So, it remains a worthwhile investment
The only good investement in this game is if you can reach 1st place KC Cup/WCS without spending money. KOG isn't a solid evidence for good investment, I built Superheavy Samurai without resetting the box and still able to reach KOG 3 seasons in a row with only 1 copy of Wagon, but still I won't call it good investment.
