For some reason this card won't let me activate only set. I have 4 monster in my graveyard. Throne room, exodia, merchant, and some other monster I forgot. What does mean 3 different types? Like earth, light, and fire or spell caster, machine, fiend or normal, effect?

It means like Dragon, Fiend, and Spellcaster, like the multiple Spellcasters that seemed to be in your grave at the time.

It is at the start of your main phase, before you activate a card, like setting this one. Set then use next turn.

Regarding the above comment Daemon, i'm not entirely sure it is solely based on whether the monsters are dragon, spell caster, etc. In last game I played which lead me to coming here. I had several monsters of both different types, but same elements and it wouldn't activate. For example in a Happy Girl deck, with HG(spellcaster light), Rai-mei (thunder light), Fiend Megacyber (Warrior Dark) and...

Those are still 3 different Types of monsters, so of it triggered. However, it must be asked: Are you guys using the card at the BEGINNING of your turn or after some combo? Because it does say it must be the first card you play in a turn to be activated...
