I understand the worries but i think the chances of drawing a perfect enough hand to pull this out turn 1 are too unlikely to make it worth running. Its more likely a user would just brick and lose.
Sometime it happen. I had a game where Tea pull out Dark Paladin turn 1, against my Ice Barrier. Luckly i have 3 Magic Triangle, thank to his Duel stand by and i go 2nd. I really want to see his face, the moment i pull the 3rd MT lol
Sadly there are a decent amount of support cards that make this deck playable. For me, I'm using this card that lets me summon level 4 or lower normal monsters from the top 4 cards my deck so it's very easy to possible to pull this off first turn. I know this deck is kinda a 🔥 move but it's kinda fun
