Red-Eyes: deck recipe [Feb 2]

Anonymous
*Fusion from the deck *Searching without needing normal summon *Boss monster that can't be targeted *Inbuilt monster reborn *Access to a card that destroys without targeting Yet red eyes decks su ck Why?

Slash dragon su*ks because has the slower and weakest mechanics attached to it and worse they need each other to make anything.

Equip spell + battle phase effect. Battle related effects are trash nowadays and equip spells only see success if they have a crap ton of effects attached to them. Now combine both and you get this attempt of a boss monster

Slash dragon is a good card. However is slow in this meta and for dl in general. Excellent for begginers and for auto farm.

It isn't even digital bug can beat it easily
Anoymous
1. Fusion from the deck but cannot summon anything else that turn
2. Search engine only once per turn and need to milled other monster in exchange
3. Protection from targeting is slow, needing equips to work
4. Another slow monster reborn coz it's trap and it's better to run a trap that disrupt your opponent plays rather than waiting your monster to be dead

Yes red eyes su ck
Nefilim
It doesn't "suck" just lacks on variety of plays RN, also desperado hard counters it, other than that it's pretty good against decks that rely heavilly on targeting effects like blue eyes.

Still BE beats it by pure atk stats, sabre dancer just does her chain blocking thing, NK xyz also beats over it by pure atk, Every just banish it, etc

People just like to categorize some decks as bad. Red eyes is far from a bad deck. Yes it is not a tier deck in this meta but still a strong deck to use. The bad thing is that it is one dimensional. It heavy relies on slash. Other than that, red eyes gearfreed+blast with chain is the only strong combo. Just needs a new yyfusion or red eyes kunai with chain. Red eyes is the best deck for beginners.

People are just afraid to categorize some decks as good or bad, why so reluctant to do so? Red eyes is in the bad side, only its black metal dragon/red eyes gearfried can be considered good enough

the deck has tons of bad matchups: all the current meta decks, any deck that uses Every, lunalight, superheavy samurai (how do they get rid of a 4k def syncro?), digital bugs, cyber dragon, blackwings..

Yup, they currently lacked any form of removal even though the protection and floating effect pretty good though

Gearfreed+blast with chain/red eyes baby is basically +2. Unfortunately, this is the only good removal option they have. Or tech archfiend of lighting. The good thing is that they have 0 limited cards so they can use some of the best limit cards like enemy, current, treacherus. For this meta is best to use parasath engine as suggested.

Gearfried can do nothing if it was karmaed or simply negated by those heavy backrow

Gearfreed needs baby dragon. Set baby dragon+special summon gearfreed->destroy backrow->get black metal dragon. A free +2 and your opponent can chain anything

Anoymous
that stu pid equip mechanic, if only it were different like summon and equip one of its materials immediately (both happening at the same time) slash dragon would be far better

Joey uses equips quite often in anime, so it makes sense. Also, red eyes fang with chain will be awesome card for slash dragon when it comes.

So OP, That's why we only see red-eyes decks in kog and championships, right?

There is no skin in Duel Links. All costuems are default.
Lol, her dialogue isn’t the beat. Your losing scene sounds dumb.
