To be fair, Bakura without the Millennium Ring is preferable in that he'd at least be a different character compared to another Yugi or Tristan. No idea what they'd give him for cards though.
Diabound kernel is an actual card in the TCG now actually. Same with dark sanctuary. Unfortunately only kernel is actually in the game, the more powerful Diabound forms are still anime/manga only
