You got a problem with the filler? In all honesty, I wouldn't have minded that part of season 3 at all... IF IT HADN'T INTERRUPTED THE TOURNAMENT. But yeah, other than that enormous detail, it was good filler with interesting characters.
Noah is coming maybe not soon but at some point his voice is one of a few at the title screen that arent characters in the game yet. Grandpa being another.
To be honest, the only thing I really liked about this arc was that it gave more backstory and emotional investment to Seto's character. But they should have made it purely Seto vs. Gozaburo. I don't see why they had to invent a biological son for Gozaburo, or make the Big 5 into comic relief. I did not care for the Monkey Tristan plot, either.
I did find the arc a little boring at times but that was just because I wanted to see the end of Battle City at the time. I liked the arc quite a bit going back to it though.
Growing up, I thought the Big Five was an awesome arc. The Tristan disaster aside, I loved that Tea got an arc to stand on her own, we saw amazing develop enemy between Kaiba and Mokuba. Plus Yami, like a boss, finishing Kaibas work for him. Also Injection Fairy Lily AND Satalite Cannon (which is one of my all time favorite cards) made their on screen debut. Don't smack the Big Five arc
Plus, if they did come to Duel Links, we could see some interesting cards. I doubt we would get anything crazy like Order, but Lector (who I would certainly want the most) could give us our 3rd Jinzo and possibly Injection Fairy Lily. Gansley’s cards have been printed unless I’m mistaken, and perhaps Nesbitt could have a skill to make something like Machine King worthwhile... also penguins
