The capsule monster arc was made exclusivly by 4Kids only. Japan did not had this season in the anime.

I'd expect we'll see some influences of his Capsule Monsters stuff. (We already know Prisman is likely in his Starter Deck, and I'd be willing to bet Thunder Kid and Shovel Crusher are as well.)
