You could keep beating your opponent to death with swordswoman alone, what is your opponent going to do with World Legacy Clash? That card will boost swordswoman tremendously, it's 🔥. That's why they limited it. There are other stall decks that only have: -Lava golem -Swordswoman -Traps Again, World Legacy Clash would be 🔥. That's why they limited it.

No. Real players would found a way to destroy the swordswoman long before that happened. There are plenty of ways to do that without battling her. They didn't semi limit her because of world legacy clash. They did it because people were sick of having their gigantic monsters losing to her when 🔥 happened like two swordswoman crashing into a 4000 atk souped up RESD with power of the guardians.

Your gigantic monsters can be protected in several ways against swordswoman. How many techs we have? Floodgate, canadia, enemy controller, WLC, bad aim, subterror urmatryx, A/D changer, etc, etc, etc.

They limited it because Whales can take huge advantage of it. You only get traps and stall with swordswoman + queen, Legacy Clash might be a reason too.

I didn't say it was a good reason. I just said that Konami did it because all those people did. So they went for the 🔥 move and went after the swordswoman because she is a free card and they were afraid of all the players who just want to play decks like red and blue eyes or other things where you can summon a bunch of 2500-3000 atk monsters who might want to quit the game and not buy more.

And whales playing amazoness? Where did you even get that from? That was mostly a f2p with people usually playing the Weevil parasite skill with lava golem and other annoying monsters thrown in. Even before they hit swordswoman, there were already less people playing that deck. I don't know where you were losing to all these swordwomen and queen with WLC. But you hardly ever saw it in legend.

Same goes for the swotdswoman alone. The only whale deck you usually saw her in was red eyes, and that was usually just fodder for the fusion and almost never made it to the field. And the queen wasn't always in red eyes decks with her so the chances of getting them both on the field with a red eyes deck were low.

So, to summarize: No, they did not semi limit swordswoman because of world legacy clash. If a combo with a certain card was the problem, they would have specified that as a reason in the explanation in the notifications. And no, whales were taking "huge advantages" with decks with swordswomen, the queen, wlc and a stall traps. When people used amazoness, it was usually because they HAD to.

KC Cup is not the same since it is all ranks mixed together. And no, there were not nearly as many of those as other decks. That was also before subterrors were released. Having 3 floodgate and canadia doesn't make it a p2w deck. If anything, amazoness players gathered up those staples a long time ago with gems and dream tickets back sincne the boxes were new.

I agree about amazoness players gathering staples for free long ago.

It's a lazy playing style, that can be fun... when you are mentally exhausted.
But the guy who says: "whales don't play Amazoness" he's just... hydrocephalic or something. Maybe he never played this game.

Amazoness banish control decks fell out of the meta months ago while Weevil burn amazoness was falling more recently. So the hit to amazoness swordswoman was purely to please whiners who just ran into a few random ones once in a great while.
