You guys are missing the point and involving KoG into the game being F2P unfriendly or not.
The simple fact is - if you want to build the ideal setup of almost any decent deck, you need to spend real money or grind only boxes for that one deck for a few months.
I'm not talking making the deck playable, or even reaching KoG with it. I'm just talking the ideal setup you want for a deck.
It sucks that if you're free to play, you have to stick to ONE DECK and only that one until its good enough. THEN you're able to start building other decks.
Took me 31 days to build my deck and reach KoG without spending money, but I have only one deck (Fur Hires) and that's all, I don't have a decent version of any other deck since I lack the gems for that.
Now, I can grind for months to be able to build other decks, and I feel that's ok.
But I wish the gem rate was a lil bit higher.
Like, not 1 deck per 2-3 months.
That makes it kinda look like a MMORPG while you need to grind for weeks/months to get your gear.
That's my mentality when I just started the game and been playing for 3-6 months. A year later,what I realized, is the scarcity of resources. lvl 45 characters, scarce gem incomes, and waiting forever for decent events, this is the bigger picture for all players, and the final demise of f2ps. Scraping every month or two to get one meta deck, repeat and rinse. Game is free, YOUR TIME IS NOT.
